IOF abruptly installs checkpoints in Jenin

E-mail Print PDF

Gaza30Mar5JENIN (PNIC):-Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday afternoon set up a number of checkpoints in different areas of Jenin province, north of the West Bank.

Local sources told the PNIC reporter that the IOF soldiers erected a military checkpoint west of Jenin city, stopped the Palestinian vehicles passing in the area and searched them.

Other temporary checkpoints and ambushes were set up east and south of Jenin city, according to the sources.

The IOF soldiers from time to time install temporary checkpoints at the entrances to the West Bank villages and towns under flimsy security pretexts. These measures are usually accompanied by arbitrary arrests.
