Noor55OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PNIC):-Israeli police forces on Wednesday besieged Khan al-Ahmar community east of Occupied Jerusalem, and continued leveling works in the neighborhood in preparation to raze it.

In a statement on Wednesday evening, Coordinator of the Wall and Settlements Resistance Committee, Mazen al-Ezzah, said that Israeli forces prevented anyone from reaching the community including ambulance teams and journalists.

He pointed out that Israeli bulldozers have continued leveling the lands of the community and have been banning solidarity activists from accessing the site since morning hours.

Israel has been threatening to demolish Khan al-Ahmar and to expel its residents in order to build a new settlement in the area, a step that has generated strong international protest.
