Gaza12Aug3GAZA (PNIC):-A Palestinian youth on Tuesday afternoon was injured after Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian protesters near the eastern border of Khuzaa town east of Khan Younis governorate to the south of Gaza Strip.

The spokesman of Palestinian Health Ministry, Ashraf al-Qudra, said that a Palestinian man was moderately wounded in his foot after being shot by the IOF.  He was then moved to hospital for treatment, he added.

The Gaza border area has been recently witnessing clashes with the IOF in protest at the US recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
