Zahhar said, “There are positive developments coming in the near future that will dramatically alleviate the siege, including the opening of Rafah crossing”.

The Egyptian authorities have recently promised Hamas Movement to relieve the humanitarian suffering of the Gazan people through opening Rafah crossing regularly and opening a commercial crossing in order to facilitate the commercial traffic, according to previous remarks by the Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya.
