Palestinian injured in Israeli airstrike over Gaza

Eng383GAZA (PNIC):-One Palestinian suffered injuries after an Israeli warplane carried out an airstrike targeting the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip, on Sunday evening.

A PNIC reporter said that an Israeli warplane fired one missile towards a group of Palestinians east of Beit Hanoun town in the northern Gaza Strip, injuring one Palestinian.

The injured Palestinian, whose identity remained unknown, was taken to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment; his condition was reported to be moderate.

An Israeli army spokesperson said that an Israeli warplane targeted a group of Palestinian protesters, allegedly launching incendiary balloons towards southern Israel.

Meanwhile, locals said that an Israeli warplane also targeted another group of Palestinians east of return camps in central Gaza; no injuries were reported.
