Lieberman: 'No more fuel, gas for Gaza'

Eng373JERUSALEM (PNIC):-Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman warned, on Saturday, that as long as the violent protests continue along the besieged Gaza border, including the launch of incendiary kites and balloons and kites, he will halt the transfer of fuel and gas into the Strip.

Lieberman posted a tweet on his Twitter account “As long as the violent protests continue on the Gaza border, including the launching of incendiary balloons and kites and the burning of tires near Israeli towns, the fuel and gas for the Gaza Strip will not be renewed.”

Lieberman had previously issued an order banning the entry of fuel and gas into Gaza, in August, after the continued noticeable launching of incendiary kites and balloons from Gaza towards Israeli communities surrounding Gaza.

However, it is noteworthy that Palestinians in Gaza view the incendiary kites as a form of protest against Israel's nearly 12-year blockade of Gaza and for Palestinian refugees right of return to their homes and lands which are now known as Israel.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, thousands of Palestinians took part in the funeral processions of seven Palestinians, who were shot and killed by Israeli forces during Friday protests along the eastern borders.

Thousands of Palestinians participated in protests, as part of “The Great March of Return,” due to which 252 were injured by Israeli forces, of whom 50 were children and 10 were women.
