Hamas delegation wraps up meetings with Cairo officials

Eng293CAIRO (PNIC):-A Hamas high-level delegation, headed by Deputy Hamas Chief Saleh al-Aruri, has ended its visit to Cairo.

During the four-day visit, the Hamas officials have held several discussions with the Egyptian Intelligence, rounding off with a meeting with the Egyptian Minister for Intelligence, Major General Abbas Kamel.

Hamas said the meetings proceeded along transparent and serious terms and tackled all issues related to the Palestinian cause, bilateral relations, and the current and expected political developments.

The Egyptian officials pledged to keep up their efforts to work out all unsettled issues, especially lifting the Israeli siege and achieving Palestinian reconciliation.

Hamas movement lauded Egyptians’ efforts in favor of the Palestinian cause.

A number of Hamas officials participated in the round of meetings, including members of Hamas political bureau, Mousa Abu Marzouk Nizar Awadallah, Ezzet Resheq, Husam Badran, Rwahi Mushtaha, and the Hamas leader Taher Alnono.
