Noor129JENIN (PNIC):-The Israeli prison service is refusing to allow a wounded Palestinian prisoner to undergo important surgery or provide him with appropriate medical care.

The prisoner, Azmi Annafaa, suffers from a bullet injury in his jaw and thus needs surgical intervention to repair his face, according to his father.

Annafaa, from Jenin, was injured in his face in 2015 when Israeli soldiers opened fire at his car near Za’atara checkpoint, south of Nablus city.

H was accused at the time of intentionally ramming his car into a group of Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint and sentenced later to 20 years in jail.
