Israel’s bombing of cultural center in Gaza “barbaric act”: Hamas

Bulk410GAZA (PNIC):-The Hamas Movement has condemned Israel’s bombing of a building housing a cultural center and the Egyptian community’s offices in the Gaza Strip, describing the attack as a “barbaric behavior.”

In a press release, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem accused Israel of deliberately destroying the building in order to torpedo the Egyptian efforts in Gaza.

He said the bombing of Egyptian offices confirmed that Israel is the enemy of all Arabs.

For weeks, Hamas has been engaging in talks with Egypt and the UN over proposals that may lead to a long-term ceasefire agreement with Israel and an improvement in the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

However, Israel suddenly escalated its aerial attacks on Gaza on Wednesday night and Thursday, striking more than 150 targets in Gaza and forcing the Palestinian resistance to respond.

One of Israel’s air raids on Wednesday claimed the lives of three Palestinian civilians in Gaza, including a pregnant mother and her 18-month-old daughter.
