Noor70GAZA (PNIC):-The Hamas Movement has accused the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership and its government of being complicit in the US and Israeli attempts to carry out the deal of the century.

Hamas said that the persistence of the PA and its government in justifying the sanctions imposed on the Gaza Strip and inciting the international community against any efforts to alleviate the blockade confirms their complicity in the conspiracy aimed at implementing the US-backed deal of the century.

In a press release on Wednesday, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum held Mahmoud Abbas and his government as well as the Israeli occupation state fully responsible for all the repercussions resulting from the siege and sanctions imposed on Gaza.

Last year, Abbas started to take several punitive measures against Gaza, claiming they were aimed at Hamas.

His measures against Gaza included decreasing the electricity supply, denying medical transfers for patients, slashing the salaries of thousands of government workers by 30 percent, and ordering early retirement for nearly a third of civil servants.

These sanctions have exacerbated the harsh humanitarian situation in the Gaza, which has been under Israeli siege since 2007.
