PA bans demonstrations, protests in the West Bank

Bulk376RAMALLAH (PNIC):-The Adviser of Head of Palestinian Authority (PA) Mahmoud Abbas for provincial affairs has released an order that bans holding any gatherings, protests or marches in the West Bank.

The circulation that was published by WAFA news agency on Wednesday mourning claimed that this decision aims at facilitating the living conditions and maintaining normal life during the upcoming Eid days.

The PA ban of protests order coincided with the escalation of the pace of West Bank demonstrations and protests which demand lifting the sanctions on the besieged Gaza Strip, which have been imposed by Abbas since last April.
