Bulk376RAMALLAH (PNIC):-The civil organizations network called on Palestinians to partake in a protest sit-in slated to be held on Tuesday before the Palestine Liberation Organization’s headquarters in Ramallah city.

The event aims at demanding the Palestinian Authority (PA) to lift its sanctions imposed on the besieged Gaza Strip by the PA President Mahmoud Abbas.

In a statement on Monday, the civil organizations stressed the importance of bearing national and humanitarian responsibilities by all Palestinians and protesting against the PA sanctions.

A massive march, the first of its kind, on Sunday roamed the streets of Ramallah city and asked Abbas to end the sanctions which he imposed on Gaza in April, 2017. The sanctions has aggravated the crises in the coastal enclave which has been blockaded for over 12 years.
