Israel army launches limited incursion into blockaded Gaza

Gaza12Sep9GAZA (PNIC):-Six Israeli military bulldozers on Monday morning moved dozens of meters into the eastern corners of the Central Province, in the blockaded Gaza Strip.

Local sources said six Israeli bulldozers stationed at military sites along Gaza’s border crept into the eastern corners of the Central Province.

The bulldozers leveled Palestinian lands and set up barbed wire some 50 meters away from the border fence.

Israeli military incursions near the border fence separating Gaza from territories occupied in 1948 have long been a near-daily occurrence.

The Israeli army also regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas.

The practice, often carried out under the security pretext, has destroyed much of the agricultural harvest of the blockaded coastal enclave.
