Gaza18Dec11NABLUS (PNIC):-A group of Israeli settlers attacked on Thursday morning Palestinian farmers in the village of al-Sawiyeh, south of Nablus, and destroyed dozens of trees.

Local activist Ghassan Daghlas affirmed that settlers from Rahalim settlement, illegally built on al-Sawiyeh land, attacked the farmers and prevented them from ploughing their land.

The settlers also destroyed 40 fully grown olive trees after forcing the farmers to leave their lands under Israeli forces’ protection.

Meanwhile, settlers have set up a number of tents near the neighboring al-Laban town as a prelude to establish a new illegal settlement.
