Gaza29Apr12OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PNIC):-The Israeli security cabinet on Saturday ended its emergency meeting on the military escalation on the northern border with Syria without disclosing information about its decisions.

The security cabinet meeting was held after Syrian air defenses were able to shoot down an Israeli F-16 jet fighter over a border area.

According to Hebrew news websites, the meeting was chaired by premier Benjamin Netanyahu, his war minister Avigdor Lieberman and chief of staff Gadi Eizenkot.

In a related development, the Israeli occupation army dispatched yesterday large military reinforcements, including tanks, to the Golan Heights, which reflected its intent to escalate the situation.
