Gaza25Dec3OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PNIC):-A number of Palestinian youths were injured and others were arrested during clashes that burst out on Friday afternoon in different locations in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The protests flared anew on the sixth Friday after the US recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The PNIC reporters said that clashes broke out mostly in al-Khalil, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus and other locations in the Gaza Strip in protest at the US President Donald Trump decision on Jerusalem.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, 43 injuries were recorded in the flash points with Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the West Bank. While in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health reported on 25 injuries.

The clashes in all locations erupted after Friday prayers following peaceful marches that were held to protest the US unjust decision on Jerusalem.

IOF soldiers violently suppressed the rallies and showered the protesters with rubber bullets and tear gas grenades resulting in injuries and suffocation among Palestinian youths.

Six Palestinians were arrested including a senior Fatah official in Bethlehem city, Hassan Faraj.
