Gaza11Jan6DOHA (PNIC):-Member of the Hamas Political Bureau, Mousa Dudin, on Thursday said that the health condition of the injured female prisoner Israa Ja'abis requires a serious intervention to save her from the injustice she is being subjected to in Israeli jails.

Dudin denounced in a press statement the absence of any action by the Palestinian leadership and called for activating Israa's issue on all levels until she is released and provided the necessary treatment.

He called on human rights organizations to intervene and asked the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission to work locally and internationally to help Israa and all Palestinian prisoners suffering in Israeli jails.

The Hamas official affirmed that the Palestinian prisoners issue will remain at the top of his Movement's priorities until they obtain freedom.

Israa Ja'abis, 32, mother of a child, is sentenced to 11 years in prison. Ja'abis is suffering from severe burns she sustained in different parts of her body when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at her car during her arrest two years ago.
