Thousands march in funeral of 17-year-old Gazan killed by Israeli army

Gaza25Dec5GAZA (PNIC):-Thousands of Palestinians joined on Sunday afternoon the funeral procession of 17-year-old Mohamed al-Dahdouh, who succumbed to Israeli-inflicted wounds.

A PNIC news correspondent said the funeral kicked off from Salah al-Deen al-Ayoubi Mosque, in Gaza city, en route to the Martyrs Cemetery, to the east.

Islamic Jihad leader, Khader Habib, said Dahdouh sacrificed his life and soul for al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam.

“The blood of our children will not be spilt in vain and will bring about victory someday,” he added.

Al-Dahdouh was pronounced dead on Sunday after he succumbed to wounds wrought by the Israeli forces in clashes rocking eastern Gaza Strip a couple of weeks earlier.
