Gaza6Apr1OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PNIC):-The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished over the past month nine Palestinian residential and commercial facilities in occupied Jerusalem, rights sources revealed.

Jerusalem International Foundation revealed in its monthly report that three Jerusalemites were forced last month to demolish their houses by their own hands to avoid paying the Israeli demolition fees.

During the reported period, the martyr Nimer Jamal’s family house was also demolished as part of Israel’s collective punishment policy.

The report pointed to the Israeli ongoing arrest campaigns where 150 Jerusalemites were detained over the past month including children, journalists, academics, and police officers.

The Foundation said that Israel has escalated its schemes to separate Jerusalem from West Bank and to establish the E1 settlement project.

The Israeli Supreme Court has postponed the demolition of six Palestinian buildings, consisting of 140 apartments, near Qalandia checkpoint till February 2018 after local residents submitted appeals against the demolition orders.
