Gaza6Nov10GAZA (PNIC):-A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead in the blockaded Gaza Strip on Tuesday after he succumbed to injuries sustained during the anti-occupation uprising of 1991.

Atef al-Mukwasi, from Jabalia refugee camp, north of Gaza Strip, died of wounds he sustained in the Stone Intifada (Uprising) of 1991.

Mukwasi had gone quadriplegic as a result of the Israeli-inflicted wounds, before he was pronounced dead on Tuesday in the besieged enclave.

Hundreds of Palestinians have gone paralyzed as a result of the aggressive attacks launched by the Israeli army on anti-occupation protesters during the First Intifada.
