We are ready to fully implement Cairo agreement: Haneyya

Gaza13OctGAZA (PNIC):-Head of Hamas's Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya on Thursday affirmed his group’s readiness to fully implement Cairo reconciliation agreement.

In a phone conversation with head of Egyptian intelligence Gen. Khaled Fawzy, Haneyya declared his Movement’s participation in a comprehensive dialogue with Palestinian factions.

The Hamas leader also expressed gratitude to Egypt over its role in achieving the Palestinian national reconciliation.

For his part, head of Egyptian intelligence thanked Hamas leadership for its “courageous position.”

Egypt will continue its efforts till fully completing the reconciliation agreement, he vowed.

Hamas and Fatah movements reached a reconciliation agreement at dawn Thursday following two rounds of talks held in Cairo under the auspices of the Egyptian intelligence agency.
