-373847191RAMALLAH (PNIC):-Mohjat al-Quds Foundation said on Sunday that the Palestinian lawyer Mohammed Allan, 33, who is held in the Israeli Megiddo prison, has been on hunger strike for the 11th day in a row in protest at his detention.

According to the Foundation, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Allan on 8th June 2017 and transferred him to Jalama interrogation center.

Allan, born on 5th August 1984, is a practicing lawyer from Einabus village in Nablus province. He was previously arrested twice and spent more than three years in Israeli jails for his affiliation with the Islamic Jihad Movement.

The last time he was detained on 6th November 2014, he went on a 65-day hunger strike in rejection of his administrative detention. On the last day of his strike, his health entered a critical and dangerous stage, so the Israeli Supreme Court decided to suspend his administrative detention and he stayed in Barzilai hospital for treatment until his health improved.

However, when his health condition stabilized and the hospital's administration approved his release, the Israeli occupation authorities arrested him from the hospital yard and transferred him to the Ramleh prison hospital to serve the remaining administrative sentence imposed on him before finally being released on 4th November 2015.
